A Whole New World

Ever find yourself reflecting on all the ways you thought college or life would be looking like, only to be on a completely different path come present day? Coming to the end of a chapter and the start of a new? Find yourself wondering ‘I have to be the only one thinking/feeling this”? Is it sometimes difficult to share what's on your mind with your peers? Difficult to live with others at times? WELL SAME! Come join our young adult weekly group where we come together to process and support each other through life's ups, downs, and all arounds. Whether you’re going to classes full-time, part-time, working, living at home, or on your own, you have a place here with us, virtually! During our weekly group you will find a compassionately led space where we hope you find sturdy ground, safety, and more inner kindness to take with you for the rest of your week.

“Some of the most comforting words in the universe are ‘me too.’ That moment when you find out that your struggle is also someone else’s struggle, that you’re not alone, and that others have been down the same road.” – Anonymous

Our groups are created with teen experiences in mind.

FAQs From Our Teens

But wait… Do I have to sit around in awkward circle and talk about my feelings like they do in the movies?

NO. We aim to create a chill and -real- energy in our group space that allows for true expression and vibing. Group members “ping pong” ideas, contribute to vent seshes, and build strengths off one another to process through whatever shared theme or skill the group identifies.

How does group counseling benefit teens?

Because identity exploration and peer connections are such a vital part of being a teen, group work tends to be supportive to teens in connecting with others and feeling validated in their experiences. Teens in our groups can expect to build on your strengths and areas for growth with the support of other teens who are on your level - not just another adult who can’t quite relate to what it’s like to be a teen these days.

What kind of group is right for you?

Are you interested in primarily practicing skills such as mindfulness? Are you interested in processing through shared themes and challenges identified within the group? How about a little bit of both? In our initial consultation call, feel free to share your vision of how group can work for you and what you are looking to gain from your group work.
