As part of your care, we strive to be transparent about our practices and what to expect. Recent legislature has passed to support client empowerment and awareness of estimated costs and duration of services.
At Ambler Counseling Center, we recognize that your therapeutic needs will ebb and flow throughout life. While we will work together to identify an estimated duration and cost for your care, we want to be open with our clients that as life changes, so do your needs. Not all clients who start counseling have specifically identified issues or problems to resolve in treatment. For some people, this can be a part of their weekly self-care, similar to attending yoga classes or getting a massage. Some people can enter into their therapeutic relationship for 3-6 months and feel that their goals have been sufficiently accomplished, while others benefit from a deep, nurturing therapeutic bond that lasts for years.
Ambler Counseling Center offers sliding scale rates and our intern program to provide affordable, high-quality care. We will communicate about any adjustments in your treatment needs continually throughout your care and be up front about costs of all services before starting treatment. Call us today!
