Parenting is such a rewarding and, sometimes, challenging experience. As a parent, you want your children to thrive, but sometimes it can be difficult to know how to best help them do that. Perhaps you’ve noticed that your child has needed a bit more support academically or they have been a bit behind on developmental milestones. Figuring out what is coming up for your child is the first step to helping them succeed and grow.

Ambler Counseling Center offers a variety of assessments to help you determine what could be creating stumbling points in your child’s progress. As part of your assessment, we provide recommendations uniquely tailored to your child that can be used at home and at school. All of our assessments are conducted by a licensed psychologist and include a copy of the full assessment report and recommendations that can be shared with your child’s school, physician, and other members of your child’s support team.

Adults – we didn’t forget about you! Our assessments are not just for children - maybe you’re an adult that’s struggled in school for years, has difficulty concentrating at work, or notices yourself forgetting where you put the car keys. We provide assessments for adults and provide recommendations that can assist in a variety of areas, whether it’s at home or at work. Maybe you’re thinking of going back to school but are anxious to take the next step because you’ve always struggled academically. We can help with that, too!
